PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid deteriorating voice characteristic and increasing the producing cost of a transmitting due to multiplexing of data in a device for multiplexing and transmitting a voice signal an data. SOLUTION: In the system for compressing and transmitting a signal obtained by multiplexing at least one data signal to the voice signal, the voice signal and the data signal are mixed at the stage of an analog signal on a transmission side and the frequency of the data signal is selected so as to be the center frequency of one of prescribed divided bands in the frequency divided band of a compressor at a post stage by using the one band to be compressed and transmitted.
