PURPOSE: A system and a method for providing health information are provided to offer plural diet information most suitable for each user by evaluating synthetically the physical information and a life pattern of the user. CONSTITUTION: A client or a user(10) is connected with a health information providing system(30). The user(10) transmits data to the health information providing system(30) through a computer including a web browser(12) and a network interface(14), and receives desired data. The health information providing system(30) includes a web server(32), a homepage(34), and a database(40). The web server(32) includes a physical information data analyzing unit(31), a physical condition determining unit(33), a prescription data calculating unit(35), a diet diary generator(37), and a diet diary evaluating unit(39). The physical information data analyzing unit(31) analyzes physical information data transmitted from the computer of the information user(10). The physical condition determining unit(33) determines the physical condition of the information user(10) based on the analyzed result of the physical information data. The prescription data calculating unit(35) calculates nutrition and an exercise suitable for the information user(10) according to the physical condition. A database(40) has a basic member information database(44), a nutrition diary database(41), an exercise diary database(42), a body/calorie change database(43), a consultation room database(45), a nutrition prescription database(46), an exercise prescription database(47), and a nutrition/exercise prescription database(48). |
