PURPOSE: A master cylinder assembly is provided to reduce the process of assembling and to reduce the number of components by integrally forming a guide bar in a master cylinder and improving the combining structure of a retainer and the guide bar. CONSTITUTION: A master cylinder assembly comprises a cylinder body, first and second pistons(2,3) spacing apart from each other in the cylinder body the moving relative to each other, a first return spring(10) installed in between the first piston and the second piston, a retainer(20) pressurizing the second piston by the first return spring, and a guide bar(30) installed in the first piston to guide the relative movement of the first and second pistons. Herein, the guide bar has a second fixing ledge(3a) fixed on the first piston and a first fixing ledge(2a) fixed on the retainer. A moving hole(21) formed by two holes having different diameters is formed on the front end of the retainer. Therefore, the process of assembling is reduced and the production cost is saved.
