PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide transfer of display data corresponding to hyper-definition without increasing a transfer rate, and to realize a method for displaying a moving picture of a VGA level on a large screen display device such as a hyper-definition panel or a multi-panel. SOLUTION: A display control part 8 receives display data in which only the part to be changed are transferred as a bunch of packets including a display position, magnification, or the like; stores the display data processed according to the above parameter once in a picture storage means 14; reads the stored display data from the picture storage means 14 in synchronization with the display timing of a liquid crystal panel 20; generates a signal for liquid crystal display; and makes the liquid crystal panel 20 display the data by using a data line driving means 16 and a scanning line driving means 18.
