DRIVING AUXILIARY DEVICE OF UNDERGROUND DRIVEN STEEL MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving auxiliary device of an underground driven steel member which is excellent in abrasion resistance against driving operation and withstands repeated use and economically advantageous, and excellent in breaking efficiency of ground and further, capable of improving the working efficiency due to increase of the excavating speed. SOLUTION: A tip metal fitting 3 having a cross sectional shape similar to a steel sheet pile A is extendedly fitted to the tip of an auxiliary sheet pile 2 to be arranged along the inside face of the steel sheet pile A to be driven. The tip of the tip metal fitting 3 is cut obliquely to form a cutter edge 6. The cutter edge 6 is specially overlaid 7 with an abrasion-resistant material. In this way, an auxiliary device excellent in the breaking effect of ground and greatly improving the strength of the cutter edge can be obtained.
