PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot-dip plated member such as expanded metals, metal lath for buildings, and floor materials for buildings, which inhibits a propagation of corrosion by preventing a generation of scratches which can be an initiation point of rust, and besides improves its corrosion resistance of cut ends and welded parts. SOLUTION: The hot-dip plated member comprises being plated with a molten zinc alloy consisting of 1-4 wt.% Mg, 4-22 wt.% Al, and Zn and unavoidable impurities as balances. The molten zinc alloy for plating can further includes 0.002-0.1 wt.% Ti and 0.001-0.045 wt.% B, and/or 0.005-2.0 wt.% Si as needed. The member is preferably used for expand metals, metal lath for buildings, and floor materials for buildings.
