A low potential accelerating voltage V2 is applied to a second grid G2. A fourth grid G4 and a sixth grid G6 are connected to each other in a tube, and supplied with a first focusing voltage Vf1. A third grid G3 and a seventh grid G7 are connected to each other in a tube, and supplied with a dynamic focusing voltage (Vf2+Vd). A tenth grid G8 and a convergence cup C are connected to each other, and supplied with a plate voltage Eb. A fifth grid G5 and a eighth grid GM1 are connected to each other in a tube, and connected to a voltage supply terminal R1-1 on a resistor R1. A ninth grid GM2 is connected to a voltage supply terminal R1-2 on the resistor R1.
