PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the cutting performance and durability of a rotary cutting tool with a guide without straining the product, reducing hardness and increasing costs. SOLUTION: A guide pad 5 is fixed to the outer periphery of a tool body 1 by brazing, then, the surface of the pad 5 is coated with a DLC(diamond like carbon) film 6 which can be made into a film at a low temperature.
