PURPOSE: A method for accessing a web telephone directory of a web phone is provided to access the web telephone directory by clicking a directory button while a user performs a telephone call or performs the surfing of a web by using the web phone. CONSTITUTION: If a user pushes a directory button(120), a web phone judges whether the user performs a telephone call with the first person. If the user performs the telephone call with the first person, the web phone inquires the user whether the telephone call is ended or maintained. If the user selects the end of the telephone call, the web phone terminates the telephone call with the first person. If the user selects the maintenance of the telephone call, the web phone holds the telephone call with the first person. The web phone connects to a web telephone directory server, reads telephone directory data of the user stored in the web telephone directory server, and displays the read telephone directory data on an LCD(110) of the web phone.
