PURPOSE: An abort/reset automatic adjusting apparatus in a DSLAM system is provided to prevent an error such as a data loss possibly occurring in operation of a program by constantly monitoring a pending time occurring during a program operation and automatically performing an abort/reset function. CONSTITUTION: A CPU(100) senses a pending occurring during a program operation, outputs a corresponding halt signal, operates a program again after recognizing the pending state when receiving an abort signal, and initializes a system entire board when receiving a power reset signal. A PLD(programmable logic device)(200) receives the halt signal from the CPU(100), outputs a corresponding abort signal to the CPU, and outputs a manual reset signal when an operation pending time excess occurs several times. A reset output unit(300) receives the manual reset signal from the PLD and outputs a corresponding power reset signal to the CPU(100), the PLD(200) and a cell bus chip. An oscillator(400) is connected between the CPU and the PLD and generates a synchronous clock. An abort circuit unit(500) generates an abort signal by a direct and manual operation of an operator and outputs the abort signal to the PLD(200). A reset circuit unit(600) generates a reset signal by a direct and manual operation of the operator and outputs the reset signal to the PLD(200).
