PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera device for visual inspection that can be maintained appropriately and is capable of inspection at least in two visual fields simultaneously, and a visual inspection device incorporating the camera device for visual inspection. SOLUTION: The visual inspection device comprises a stretchable, hollow gripping rod 10 (A), a hollow flexible tube 13 that is mounted to the tip of the gripping rod 10 and is capable of oscillation motion and motion in a longitudinal direction (B), a hollow pedestal section 30 where the rear section is mounted to the tip of the hollow, flexible tube 13 (C), a camera section 20 where the rear section is detachably fitted to the tip section of the hollow pedestal section 30, and a solid-image pickup device and a lighting means are accommodated inside (D), a connection cable 40 (E), and a control box 50 having an image display device 51 and a power supply section (F). The camera section 20 is guided to a desired location to be inspected by the oscillation motion and the motion in a longitudinal direction of the hollow, flexible tube 13, and an image from the desired location to be inspection obtained from the solid- image pickup device is received by the image display device 51.
