PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game medium renting system of a novel type wherein a game card is not used. SOLUTION: A player who wants to play a game using a game machine 2 connects a portable telephone 1 to a data vending machine 7 or an inter- machine 9 to procure monetary valuable data. The monetary valuable data procured is related to portable telephone number of the telephone 1 and a password code inputted when the data is procured so as to be stored in a hall managing device 5. For playing a game using the machine 2, the telephone 1 is connected to the inter-machine 9 to consume the monetary valuable data stored in the device 5, whereby game mediums are rented to the player.
