PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission interface adopting a designated transmission protocol for a time division frame, especially for an SDH(Synchronous Digital Hierarchy) frame between communication network nodes. SOLUTION: The node includes a 1st circuit means SM that employs the designated transmission protocol to process time division frames TRM1, TRM2 and a 2nd circuit means FP that is suitable for exchange of an information stream FDS with the 1st circuit means SM via the transmission interface STI. In this invention, the 2nd information stream FDS exchanged between the 1st circuit means SM and the 2nd circuit means FP via the transmission interface STI is more simplified than the time division frames TRM1, TRM2 received from the node. The FDS consists of data streams BD, T-BD, R-BD transmitted in a unidirectional system and address information EAR, T-EAR and R-EAR transmitted by the transmission interface STI.
