PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor and a method for manufacturing it which can maintain a small gap in the thrust direction and also easily ensure the axial alignment of the bearing. SOLUTION: A motor 1 is provided with a thrust receiving bearing retainer housing 8b housining a thrust receiver 10, a bearing retainer 8c housing a bearing 12, and a bearing holder 8 in which an elastic piece 8c2 is divided into plulal pieces by cutouts and disposed in the retainer 8c to elastically support the bearing 12. And its manufacturing method is provided.
