PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the joint strength of an upper and a lower cases 2, 3 at the vicinity of the holding part of a leader pin 5 in consideration of the disassembling of a cartridge case, with respect to a magnetic cartridge in which a single reel around which a magnetic tape is wound is rotatably housed in a cartridge case in which the upper case 2 and the lower case 3 of the magnetic tape cartridge is unitedly joined and which has an opening part for drawing the tape on a side wall, and a long and narrow leader pin 5 fixed at the tip part of the magnetic tape is freely attachably and detachably held across the upper and lower cases 2, 3 in the vicinity of the opening part for drawing the tape. SOLUTION: A driving pin 40 having a thin diameter is struck in the vicinity of the holding part of the leader pin 5 in the cartridge case to join the upper and the lower cases 2, 3.
