PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a black-and-white graphic arts film suitable for use in an arbitrary LD(laser diode) or HN exposure system. SOLUTION: The black-and-white graphic arts film has one or more emulsion layers, containing (a) a trinuclear merocyanine spectral sensitizing dye, (b) 2-methylthio-4-hydroxy-6-methyl-1,3,3a,7-tetraazaindene and (c) photosensitive silver halide on the base.
