PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens device allowed to be rotated by switching an operation ring to manual or electric operation by simple constitution by arranging a driving ring and the operation ring as double structure, installing a driving motor in the operation ring, engaging the gear of an output shaft of the motor with the gear of the driving ring, and locking the output shaft of the motor by a locking means as to the lens device for driving a lens by rotating the operation ring arranged in a lens barrel. SOLUTION: The driving ring 30 is arranged on the outer peripheral part of a lens barrel body 22 in which a focus lens F is arranged and the lens F is moved in an optical axis direction by rotating the ring 30. A focus ring FR is arranged on the outer peripheral part of the ring 30 and the driving motor F is arranged on the inner periphery of the ring FR. The gear 34 of the output shaft is engaged with the gear 30B of the ring 30. The gear 34 is locked or unlocked by the lock means.
