PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To elongate the life of a curved belt by unifying the load applied to a thick part of the curved belt, and further elongate the life of the curved belt by absorbing the variation of the load applied in the radial direction of the curved belt. SOLUTION: This supporting device 300 of the curved belt supports the thick part of the curved belt 200 having the vertically raised thick part 220 on its outer peripheral edge for preventing the inward movement of the curved belt. An upper guide roller 370 is abutted on an upper inner face 221 of the thick part, a lower guide roller 380 is abutted on a lower inner face 222, and the upper guide roller and the lower guide roller are elastically supported so that they can be vertically moved. The upper guide roller is moved obliquely upwardly toward the radial inner part of the curved belt, and the lower guide roller is obliquely downwardly moved toward the radial inner part of the curved belt when receiving the operation to release the thick part from the upper guide roller and the lower guide roller. |
