SUBSTANCE: apparatus for changing tubes includes housing mounted under intermediate casting ladle, at least one fixed plate and tube provided with plate secured to its upper portion; member for forcing tube to fixed plate. Due to direct contact of surfaces of tube and plate, transition surface is formed; said transition surface is inclined by angle alpha relative to horizon. New tube is moved from its preliminary position to casting position; worn tube is moved from casting position to position for its removal at sliding motion on transition surface along path that is at least partially non-linear one.
