The present invention refers to a novel cylindrical container capable of being opened and closed hermetically, comprising a cylindrical body (5) having a first end closed by a bottom (6) portion and a second open end provided with a pressure ring (2); and a closing lid (1) that can be inserted within the pressure ring (2) provided at the open end of the cylindrical body, characterized by the fact that: a retaining device (14, 16) is provided along the periphery of the outer surface of the cylindrical body (5), preferentially near the second open end provided with the pressure ring (2), wherein a band (15) may be made to fit and be secured; the closing of the first end of the cylindrical body (5) with the bottom (6) being provided with a reducing collar (18), the outer diameter of the bottom (6) being at most equal to the outer diameter of the cylindrical body (5), allowing the said band (15) to be inserted upwards through the lower part of the container; and the pressure ring (2) and the lid (1) being of single friction type. |
