PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus by which the image re-constituting times performed per unit time are increased while suppressing the increase of a calculation amount per one arithmetic unit. SOLUTION: A plurality kind of measurement data are distributed to respective parallel arithmetic units in a parallel processing. For example, when M kinds of measurement data are distributed (M is the factor of N), the number L of the arithmetic units to be allotted to one image becomes equal to N/M. Then respective kinds of measurement data are divided into L and stored in the arithmetic unit 1 concerning 1 to Vi/L[view] of an image 1, in the arithmetic unit (M-1)L+1 concerning 1 to Vi/L[view] of an image M and in the arithmetic unit ML concerning (L-1)Vi/L+1 to Vi[view] of an image M. The calculation amount per one arithmetic unit in this case becomes larger than that of the conventional parallel processing but the calculation amount for calculating one image becomes smaller than that in a conventional method.
