PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel foot fixing device enabling easy tilting operation of a tightening lever and having good gripping and operating properties. SOLUTION: A reel foot placing face 22 for placing the attaching foot of a reel is formed on a seat body 12 for attaching a fishing reel. A pair of hoods 16, 18 for holding the attaching foot are placed opposite to each other on the placing face 22 along the longitudinal direction of the reel foot attaching face 22. At least one of the hoods is provided with a tightening lever 32 in an erectable manner to form a mobile hood 16 fixable to a prescribed position on the reel foot placing face 22 with the tightening lever 32. In the reel foot fixing device 1 having the above structure, the tightening lever 32 is provided with an attaching part 32A attachable to the mobile hood 16 in a rotatable manner and a gripping part 32B to be held with the fingers and perform the erecting operation of the lever. The gripping part 32B is composed of a broad part 32a and a narrow part 32b and the dimension of the width crossing the longitudinal direction of the reel foot placing face is smaller at the narrow part than at the broad part.
