PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability of a high lift work device in high places having a horizontally turnable work device and a work platform attached via a swingable swinging arm on a tip of a freely turning, derricking, and telescoping boom. SOLUTION: A mode selecting switch 11, a main operation lever 12 controlling operations of the boom 4, a sub operation lever 13, and a winch operation lever 14 or the like are provided on an operating device 10 provide on the work platform 8. The controller is set to a cooperative movement mode by the mode selecting switch 11, and when the main operation lever 12 is tilted, the work platform 8 is linearly moved horizontally in the tilted direction while holding a relative positional relationship between the work platform 8 and a winch device 60.
