PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug and a receptacle allowing safe use of an electric apparatus. SOLUTION: This plug has a first support body for receiving a pair of plug terminals inserted into a receptacle and a second support body for receiving an exchange member allowing exchange, and is removably attached to the receptacle by relatively moving the second support body with respect to the first support body. This plug has a locking mechanism using falling preventing guide grooves disposed in the second support body having the falling preventing guide grooves made of insulating material and in a buffering transferring part of a receptacle lid plate. The guide groove is disposed in the receptacle lid plate and stores a cord, and the buffering transferring part is provided, and a collision or catching can be prevented from accidentally pulling out the plug.
