PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a composite machine capable of enhancing brains and sprit by enjoying the preparation of a sport plan for walking, hiking or the like and maintaining and promoting mental and physical health by integrating a line measurement sensor for measuring bent line length on a map or the like in a pedometer and helpful also in preventing danger by measuring a route on the map when a journey is changed. SOLUTION: A bent line length measuring instrument adopting a caster mechanism in order to trace a bent line to be measured on a map, arranging a translucent photointerrupter on the market in a caster casing and receiving an electric signal generated from the rotating caster casing through a slip ring is integrated in the pedometer to obtain the composite machine. A change-over switch for controlling the masking of the pedometer is attached to attain quick counting and power consumption is minimized by an action switch to maintain the utility of the mechanism.
