PURPOSE: A control system for a hand tool is provided to improve manipulation and safety by adjusting a control knob and a finger gap with a hand of a user and by arranging the control knob in a shaft of the tool and spacing the finger gap from the knob. CONSTITUTION: A hand tool(10) such as a knife is composed of a control knob(12) and a blade(310). The control knob is attached to the blade, and placed in a rear edge(312) of the blade. The control knob is spaced from a knob of the tool, and a finger gap(20) is formed along the rear edge. The knob is connected to the shaft, and the blade is arranged on the shaft. The tool is gripped conveniently and easily by operating in all directions. The safety and manipulation are improved by moving the control knob and adjusting the finger gap with a hand of a user.
