METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MENDING LEAKAGE OF STRAND OF STATOR WIRE IN WATER COOLING TURBINE GENERATOR

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for mending a leakage of a strand of a stator wire in a water cooling turbine generator are provided to mend stably the leakage of the strand of a water header without cutting the water header. CONSTITUTION: A leakage portion of a water header part is cleaned by using a laser beam. The laser beam cleaning process is to remove dust and oxides by operating a laser head of an inside or an outside of the water header. A brazing alloy which is a material similar to a bonding object part of a strand portion is coated on the strand portion of the leakage portion. A bonding process is performed by radiating the laser beam on an upper surface of the brazing alloy coated on the bonding object part of the strand portion. A worker monitors the coating process of the brazing alloy and the radiation process of the laser beam.
