PURPOSE: A reinforcing method of a bridge using temperature prestressing is provided to improve load carrying capacity of a bridge. CONSTITUTION: The reinforcing method of a bridge using temperature prestressing comprises the steps of: installing a support point for fixing a reinforcing steel beam to an abutment or a pier under a bridge to be reinforced; placing a reinforcing steel beam on the lower part of the bridge; inducing the transformation of the reinforcing steel beam by providing a heat source to have a temperature gradient on the necessary section of the reinforcing steel beam; executing field splice between the section of a steel beam having an appointed temperature gradient by the provided heat source and the installed support point, then filling up using a support and a splice plate by leaving the space required between the steel beam and the bridge; and unifying the reinforcing steel beam with the existing structure by occurring upward transformation on the reinforcing steel beam by removing an artificial temperature gradient formed on the section of the reinforcing steel beam, and inducing temperature transformation to occur section force against section force by dead load and live load.
