PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for ultrasonically welding capable of always stably welding without irregularly welding at each pallet. SOLUTION: The apparatus for ultrasonically welding welds a work (6) to be welded while sequentially conveying the pallet (3) containing the work (6) to be welded. The apparatus comprises a horn (4) disposed at a distal end of a welding head (2), and a welding bearer (5) for commonly supporting the pallet (3) containing the work (6) at a lower side of the horn (4) from a lower surface side.
