SPECTACLE LENS SHAPING WORK SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spectacle lens shaping work system for transmitting/ receiving spectacle lens shaping work data, allowing a spectacle to be manufactured only by fitting lenses to a spectacle frame and requiring no worker's skill training for cutting the lenses. SOLUTION: An order placing terminal 1 in an optician's shop is connected to an order receiving terminal 6 on the lens worker side via a value added network 4. Lens shape working data including the lens shape of the spectacle frame, the geometrical center of the lens shape and the optical center thereof is fed from the order placing terminal 1 to the order receiving terminal 6. The lens shape working data is transferred via the order placing terminal 6 and a working machine control terminal 7 to a working machine 8 by which a lens is cut into the lens shape in accordance with the lens shape working data.
