PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor which effectively suppresses transmission of vibration from its stator to the motor housing, and consequently reduces noise. SOLUTION: This motor is provided with a motor housing 2, a rotor 4 supported by the motor housing 2, in such a way as to be freely rotatable, magnets 32 fitted to the rotor 4, and a stator 12 contraposed to the magnets 32. To one end of a stator core 14 of the stator 12, a first insulating member 44a is fitted. To the other end, a second insulating member 44b is fitted. The first member 44a is fixed to the motor housing 2, with an elastic adhesive layer 72 between. The second member 44b is supported by the motor housing 2 via the medium of an annular elastic member 42, and the stator core 14 is held in a state of not touching the motor housing 2.
