PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric speaker that can enhance a speaker output within the range of a frequency band of 200 Hz-20 kHz especially. SOLUTION: The piezoelectric speaker is provided with a composite piezoelectric sheet 4 formed by placing many piezoelectric elements 20 in an organic substance sheet, electrodes 6A, 6B provided to both sides of the composite piezoelectric sheet, protection layers 8A, 8B stretched over the electrodes, and a support frame 10 to support the surrounding of the composite piezoelectric sheet. A volume ratio of the piezoelectric elements in the composite piezoelectric sheet is selected within the range of 85%-95%. Thus, the speaker output within the frequency range of 200 Hz-20 kHz can especially be enhanced.
