PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for selecting and mixing video images sent/received among many points. SOLUTION: This invention provides the remote-control method for selecting and mixing video images sent/received among many points via one network or more where synchronization of the video images sent/received, on the basis of a synchronizing signal provided from a synchronous media is warranted. The video images are stored for a sum of times (A+B+C), where a difference time A caused by transmitting video images from transmitter sides distributed at many points to receiver sides distributed at many points, a delay time B caused by transmitting the video images from the receiver sides to an operation side (hereinafter called the operation side), that selects and mixes the video images and placed far away from the receiver sides, and a delay time C caused by transmitting a control signal from the operation side to the receiver sides. An operator, who mixes and selects the video images conducts selection and mixing of the video images, while confirming the video images outputted from the transmitter sides at the operation side, and the video images stored in the receiver sides, are outputted according to the result of selection and mixing conducted by the operation side.
