PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light and flexible electric wave absorbent easy to handle and having a large electric wave absorbing effect, along with an electronic apparatus and a manufacturing method for the electric wave absorbent. SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method, a soft cellular plastic body 5 including continuous air bubbles is impregnated with minute electric wave absorbing material and compressed to 1/2 to 1/20 in thickness while the soft cellular plastic body 5 is heated. In addition, an electronic apparatus is provided by using the electric wave absorbent.
