PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe for forming a cylinder longitudinally attaching tape in which a tape is smoothly inserted into the pipe for cylinder forming without curl at both side ends in such a manner that both side ends of a tape is overlapped when a tape is inserted into the pipe for cylinder forming. SOLUTION: In a pipe 11 for forming a cylinder longitudinally attaching a tape 3 formed in cylindrical shape by overlapping both side ends 3a and 3b of the tape 3, the upper side end 3a into which the tape 3 is inserted contains a notch 12 in the axial direction of the pipe. The notch 12 is provided with an upper hangover part 13 on one side end 12a in such a manner as to narrow the opening.
