PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand the kind of a substance to be detected in an immunity detection system, using an antigen-antibody reaction and to expand its measuring range (sensitivity). SOLUTION: In the method, the existence of an antigen in a sample is detected; two or more kinds of antibodies whose affinity with reference to the antigen is different are used, under the condition that also the concentration of the antibodies be sufficiently low, as compared with an equilibrium dissociation constant to the antigen and that the kind of the antibody be controlled by its own antigen-bonding affinity; the plurality of kinds of antibodies in known amounts are introduced simultaneously to the sample, so as to be used for the antigen-antibody reaction with an antigen whose existence is known; a reaction mixed solution of the plurality of kinds of antibodies and the sample is brought into contact with an immobilized antigen in known amount; the amount of an antigen bonded to the immobilized antigen is detected by measuring the fluorescence intensity of labeling fluorescence bonded to the plurality of kinds of antibodies; and the existence of the antigen in the sample is detected based on the result.
