PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side ditch with slit and a drawing and connecting device for side ditch with slit having no possibility of braking the slit of the side-ditch and capable of preventing the cracking of the lower ends of both side walls and facilitating the laying work of the slit side ditch such as connection. SOLUTION: This slit side ditch is formed into a substantially square columnar shape having a hollow passage in the axial direction and the slit allowing the hollow passage to communicate with the outside, which is provided linearly to the axial direction so as to split the upper wall. A pair of iron bar-like slit space retainers extending over the upper wall split by the slit are buried in both the longitudinal end-side upper walls of the side-ditch substantially orthogonally to the slit longitudinal direction, and the slit space retainers are also used as support parts for suspending the side-ditch upward.
