PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key switch that has a simple structure and can realize a good feeling of click. SOLUTION: A link 2 which pushes up a keytop 1 comprises a pair of first legs 22 that are axially engaged with a frame 3A and also axially engaged with second legs 21, a pair of second legs that are axially engage with the first legs and also engaged in free axis with the frame through a long hoe, return plate-springs 2A that give return force to the above keytop, and a contact plate-spring 2B that pressure contacts with a flexible printed circuit board 4 (FPC). As the above keytop is pressed downward against the elastic force of the return plate-springs, the above second legs and the frame make a movement of relative sliding through the above long hole, and the relative movement is stopped at the top end of the long hole. Following that, when the pressure load becomes high, the return springs become nearly one straight-line shape and pressure load is reduced rapidly, thereby, a feeling of click is given.
