PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a toning slide which does not cause adverse influences on the worker's body or does not require a high- level developing process and which causes no color change in ordinary environment. SOLUTION: First, a negative film for the production of a color positive is loaded on a 35 mm camera to which a microlens 2 is attached, and a yellow filter is mounted in the front side of the microlens 2. An original 5 for a blue slide mounted on the table 4 of a copying device is photographed by the 35-mm camera 1 under the reflection conditions. In this process, day-light light sources 6 are used and the ISO sensitivity is controlled to about 10. The photographed film is subjected to the development for color negatives, and the finished color negative film is subjected to a mounting process. Thus, a blue slide of white characters with a blue background is obtained.
