PURPOSE: An apparatus for cutting off a radio wave of a mobile phone for a vehicle is provided to previously prevent the generation of a traffic accident because it is impossible of performing a telephone conversation using the mobile phone while the driver drives the vehicle and it is possible of performing the telephone conversation using the mobile phone when the driver drives the vehicle within a uniform speed. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle speed converter(2) receives a signal outputted from a vehicle speed sensor(1), discriminates a current vehicle speed, and outputs a signal corresponding to the current vehicle speed. A limit speed setting unit(3) sets a minimum vehicle speed in which it is possible of using a mobile phone during the driving. A CPU(4) judges whether it is possible for a driver to perform a telephone conversation using the mobile phone by signals from the vehicle speed converter(2) and the limit speed setting unit(3), and outputs an on/off signal. An on/off control unit(5) operates or stops a mobile phone radio wave cutoff function by the signal from the CPU(4). A non-modulation signal generating unit(6) generates a non-modulation signal for cutting off the radio wave of the mobile phone by the on signal from the on/off control unit(5). An antenna amplifier(7) radiates a non-modulation radio wave for cutting off the radio wave of the mobile phone using the non-modulation signal generated in the non-modulation signal generating unit(6).
