PURPOSE: To allow a recordable or write-once-read-many optical disk drive to obtain address information by securely reproducing a wobble signal in high- speed recording. CONSTITUTION: An optical disk 10 has a wobbled guide track and a signal of reflected light obtained by an optical pickup part 16 is supplied to a wobble signal reproduction part 18. The wobble signal reproduction part 18 samples an input signal at the time of reproducing power and also samples it even at the time of recording power in recording and adds both the signals to reproduce the wobble signal. The sampling at the time of the recording power may be performed in a period wherein the quantity of reflected light after pit formation is stable. The wobble signal is reproduced at not only the time of the reproducing power, but also at the time of the recording power to improve the S/N of the reproduced wobble signal even in high-speed recording.
