PURPOSE: A barrier cover of a guide rail for a vertical blind is provided to improve external appearance and marketability and obtain simplicity and easiness of installation due to its simple structure. CONSTITUTION: A barrier plate(8) having a coupling portion(71) and a bracket(1,7) are detachably installed at one side of a guide rail(6) which is installed so that a plurality of carriers(5) of a vertical blind moves smoothly to the left or right, thereby shutting off various components projected or exposed inevitably during a guide rail fixing work so that they are not exposed to the outside and fitting a fabric(4,4') of the vertical blind to the outer surface of the barrier plate(8).
