PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide video communication equipment for dividing and transmitting an original video, for receiving the divided video data at a reception side, and for simplifying the combining work of the recorded video images. SOLUTION: This video communication equipment is provided with a video dividing means for dividing read original video data into a plurality of video data, a video data reducing means for reducing the divided video data, a reduced video data gathering means for gathering the reduced video data into one video data, a position relation data calculating means for calculating position relation data indicating the interposition relation of the respective reduced video data based on the original video before it is divided, and a transmitting means for transmitting the divided video data, one reduced and gathered video data, and the position relation data to the other equipment.
