PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve heat-up speeds and heating efficiencies in a gas oven by heating the bottom of a pot from the central portion thereof. SOLUTION: In the gas oven including an oven body 1, a pot 3 disposed in the body 1 through an exhaust gap 2 to effect cooking, and an annular burner head 4a disposed under the pot 3, the pot 3 is heated by the burner head 4a, while gas is discharged from an exhaust part 7 provided at the upper portion of the body 1 through the gap 2. The upper side of the annular burner head 4a is formed into an upper surface 5 inclined radially downwardly toward the center thereof. A flame hole 6 is formed through the upper surface 5.
