PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emission detection camera capable of reducing loss of resolution without needing electron multiplication or conversion of an electron into light when the electrons photoelectrically converted by a photoelectric surface are measured. SOLUTION: This camera is composed of a streak tube 1, the photoelectric surface 2, an acceleration electrode 3, a convergence electrode 4, a deflection electrode 5, a voltage control circuit 9 for controlling the voltage applied to the deflection electrode 5, an incident energy detection part 10, a cooling part 11 for cooling the detection part 10, and a signal reading control circuit 12 for controlling the reading of a signal from the detection part 10. A light emission phenomenon is detected by turning the inside of the streak tube 1 into a vacuum state so that the electrons can fly. The detection part 10 is a semiconductor chip for converting the entered electrons into an electric signal, and disposed in the streak tube 1.
