PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a detection pin surely contact with a conductor of a cable that is an inspection object to enhance reliability of continuity inspection and efficiency of inspection work, and to preclude a cable terminal part from being damaged. SOLUTION: The detection pins 15a, 15b, 15c are fitted into a continuity guide hole 12b part partitioned in parallel while energized to a direction protruded frontwards on a pin-axial line. A sheath 24 in the terminal part of the cable 20 is desheathed to expose three insulated core wires 21, the core wires 21 are inserted into from one side of the guide hole 12b, end faces of the conductors 22 are made to abut with pin tips of the detection pins 15a, 15b, 15c to be brought into contact, and the presence of a current flow is detected to conduct the continuity inspection.
