PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluidized bed gasification furnace capable of enhancing an efficiency of a gasification treatment. SOLUTION: The fluidized bed gasification furnace comprises a dry thermal decomposition zone A for heating to dry a refuse thrown from a refuse inlet and generating a thermal decomposition gas, a combustion zone C for burning the refuse dried in the zone A formed in a furnace body 1 having a fluidized medium disposed in a lower part of a combustion chamber 2 and having the refuse inlet 3 provided at a sidewall, a first gas supply tube 11 for ejecting a nitrogen gas from a lower part of the zone A, and a third gas supply tube 13 disposed to eject the air from a lower part of the zone C. In this case, the ejecting speed of the nitrogen gas in the zone A is decelerated from that of the air in the zone C. Thus, sinking of the refuse in the medium is deepened in the zone A.
