PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method capable of simply linking with a desired Web site and displaying a home page by omitting troublesome inputting of an address and a telephone number. SOLUTION: The place of activity in a local area and an address on the Internet are inputted and the address code of an area including this registered place of the activity is retrieved. In the case no address code is retrieved, a new address code is generated and the obtained address code is answered.
