PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide inexpensive facsimile equipment by allowing another color printer to perform color printing processing at the time of receiving color image data. SOLUTION: A main control unit 18 stores image data received by a line control unit 14 in a storage medium, judges whether or not the image data are color image data by each prescribed unit, and at the time of judging that the image data are the color image data, converts the image data into a prescribed format attachable to a mail. Also, the main control unit 18 transmits a mail attached with the image data in the prescribed format from an LAN I/F part 15 through an LAN 20 to the address of address information read from a non-volatile memory 17. At the time of judging that the received image data are black and white image data, the main control unit 18 allows a printing part 16 to monochrome-print the image data.
