PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a digital crime prevention camera recorder device by which the existence/absence of deficiency occurrence can be immediately recognized at a remote place. SOLUTION: This digital crime prevention camera recorder device is provided with a hard disk 11 for storing image data, a hard disk controller 10 for controlling writing and reading of the image data, a CPU 6A for deciding an abnormal state, an abnormality displaying means 15 for displaying the abnormal state, a receiving center 5 arranged away from a digital crime prevention camera recorder 1A, and a communicating means 4 for connecting with the receiving center 5, the digital crime prevention camera recorder 1A has abnormality notifying means 3, 13, 14, 18 and 19 for generating an abnormality signal in response to the occurrence of the abnormal state, the communicating means 4 transmits the abnormality signal to the receiving center 5, and the receiving center 5 has an abnormality notifying means driven by the abnormality signal.
